A bride from Ho Chi Minh City, a proud member of the BTS fandom known as Army, took her love for the world-famous South Korean boy band to the next level by incorporating a BTS theme into her wedding.

The wedding of Nguyen Minh Ngoc, a 1991-born bride from Ho Chi Minh City, was a vibrant celebration filled with purple – the signature color of BTS.

BTS, formed in 2013, is a South Korean boy band that has achieved global success, breaking records with chart-topping albums and singles.

They became the first all-South Korean act to top the Billboard Hot 100 and have won numerous awards, including Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards.

Their influence extends beyond music, promoting messages of self-love and mental health awareness.

Held on September 21, Ngoc’s wedding featured guests dancing to the band’s music, showcasing her deep love for the K-pop sensation.

As a dedicated Army member, Ngoc had dreamed of a BTS-themed wedding long before she got married.

She aimed to create unforgettable memories that celebrated her journey with BTS’s music on her special day.

In just 20 days, she meticulously planned every detail, from decorations to performances.

Everything at the wedding was inspired by BTS, including the purple wedding flowers and a playlist exclusively featuring BTS songs for theme music, greeting music, and DJ tracks.

The wedding’s theme line, 'I Purple You,' is a famous phrase associated with the band.

Ngoc reflected on her love story, which is intertwined with significant moments related to BTS – attending BTS concerts, eagerly waiting for album releases, and watching idol movies together.

“While my groom may not be a K-pop fan, he fully supports my passions,” she shared.

Both families encouraged the couple to make the day meaningful and personal.

Guests were amazed by the creativity of the BTS-themed celebration, many of whom knew the wedding songs by heart, from the party entrance to the bouquet toss.

One guest even congratulated the couple by renting a billboard, initially planning to display it near where BTS member Jungkook performed.

When that fell through, the guest chose Times Square in New York City instead.

“The wedding was filled with personal touches reflecting our love story,” Ngoc said, noting that many guests were moved to tears during the couple’s vows.

In addition to the purple décor and BTS music, the wedding featured a stage inspired by the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, where the couple shared sweet moments.

The photobooth resembled an art exhibit, and instead of traditional rituals, the couple opted for unique activities like watering plants and lighting candles.

As videos and pictures from the wedding circulated on social media, Ngoc felt immense joy seeing her special day celebrated by friends who share her passion for BTS.
