«Sa Majesté Bébé» means the "King Baby" in French, and the exquisite collection truly lives up to its royal meaning. The range available at Gaya (www.gayavietnam.com) includes luxury baby clothes for little ones from newborns up to the tender age of two as well as baby bed linen.

Elisa Lan Bui, the designer of Sa Majesté Bébé, has a royal connection herself. Born to a French mother and Vietnamese father, she considers herself fortunate to have grown up with both cultures. Ms Bui's childhood memories include stories from her grandmother Madame Bui Mong Diep (King Bao Dai’s second wife), who used to tell her about her native land and her love for the Vietnamese people.

On Ms Bui's first trip to Vietnam in 1996, she truly understood her grandmother's feelings, and in turn fell in love with the country and its people. She then decided, having freshly graduated from the interior design and management course at HEC Paris, one of the world's leading business schools, to live and work in Vietnam.

After a big success with her made-in-Vietnam household linen brand, Elisa Bui launched Sa Majesté Bébé in 2010 and chose Gaya to be a long-term partner. Sa Majesté Bébé products are made from the best materials: Britain’s famous Liberty cotton, or hand-crafted by some of the most talented Vietnamese artisans and thrown in the mix is a genuine dose of French 'Je ne sais quoi!'

Mixing outstanding Vietnamese know-how with a certain Parisian touch, their quintessentially French signature look is softly-toned hues and tactile textures, boasting the utmost in luxury for beloved babies. All items from beautifully tailored kimono-styled shirts from 100-percent cotton to incredibly cute and snug bodysuits, and dresses in subtle shades feature delicate embroidery or wonderful trimming.

The home baby linen collection also keeps the spirit of French style, with soft pillowcases and bedding as nice to touch as baby skin itself, in soothing colors and fabulous details.

Gaya's collection of Sa Majesté Bébé products is genuinely fit for royal babies, although you do not actually need to have blue blood to acquire a piece for yours. After all, all babies are their parents’ little princes and princesses.

Sa Majesté Bébé also offers bespoke baby outfits, as well as baby shower gifts. With personalized name embroidery on all items, these beautiful products are priced from US$20 to S$136.
