Yuri Stoyanov, chairman of Russia’s Stilsoft Group, recently proposed a collaboration between Vietnamese enterprises and his firm in the field of earth observation satellites, the Vietnam News Agency reported on Monday.
Stilsoft, a company based in Stavropol capital of Stavropol Krai, southern Russia, specializes in crafting solutions, producing, and installing security systems for facility and border safeguarding.
Additionally, the company engages in the creation and launch of earth observation satellites.
Stoyanov informed the Vietnam News Agency that the company stands at the forefront in the volume of orders and partnerships, not only within Russia but also globally.
He noted substantial interest in his company’s products not only from Vietnam but also across Southeast Asia.
These products are sought after for bolstering national border and maritime security, combatting cross-border smuggling and illegal fishing, managing environmental pollution, averting fires, and overseeing floods and landslides.
The business leader proposed a collaboration between Vietnamese enterprises and his company in earth observation satellites.
He highlighted that Stilsoft can share satellite technology, transfer satellite control expertise, and offer training for Vietnamese experts, enabling them to independently manage satellites.
Alternatively, Vietnam can use satellite image services from his firm.
Discussing the strategy of manufacturing components for Stilsoft devices in Vietnam, Stoyanov shared that the company has engaged in talks with certain Vietnamese counterparts.
This endeavor could potentially enhance Vietnam’s technological capabilities.
