Police in Ho Chi Minh City have discovered multiple violations, including providing erotic services, during a raid on a restaurant in the downtown area early on Sunday.
Dozens of suggestively-dressed female employees were caught serving their guests in erotic manners inside 20 ‘VIP rooms’ on the sixth floor of the Dmax Restaurant on Ton That Tung Street in District 1, as police officers raided the facility.
The inspection revealed a series of violations at the venue, including providing erotic services, operating karaoke rooms without a license, and breaching regulations on fire safety.
The female employees have not signed any labor contracts with the restaurant.
Competent authorities also took 92 people, including 52 women, from the restaurant to the police station. One of them tested positive for drugs.

On Friday night, officers also raided another restaurant named RUBY on Ton That Tung Street.
At the time of the inspection, many female employees, dressed in revealing outfits, were drinking and singing with their guests inside the facility’s VIP rooms.
Managers of the restaurant did not have a legitimate license to offer karaoke services and also failed to sign contracts with their female employees.
