Swing ride malfunctions with 10 children on board in Ho Chi Minh City

The rotating top of a swing ride at the Thu Duc Children’s House in Thu Duc City under Ho Chi Minh City broke down with children on board on Sunday evening, frightening them but causing no injuries.
About ten children were having fun on the swing ride when the incident occurred at around 8:45 pm on Sunday, according to local police.
The carousel stopped after its rotating top suddenly tilted, followed by screams from the children.

Nearby adults and guards at the children’s house immediately rescued the children and brought them to safety.
Some of the children panicked, but none were injured.
Technical staff at the venue spent hours fixing the problem after the incident.

Police also launched an investigation into the case.
Located on Vo Van Ngan Street in Linh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City, the Thu Duc Children’s House offers various amusement rides and games, as well as other events for entertainment and educational purposes.
