An artistic lighting system will be completed by the end of 2024 on the Ba Son Bridge, which connects District 1 and Thu Duc City in Ho Chi Minh City.
Dozens of workers were quickly completing tasks on Tuesday. One lane was barricaded to ensure safety during the installation.
Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment JSC, which is in charge of the installation, is confident the work will be completed before December 31.
Construction of the Ba Son Bridge, spanning the Saigon River, commenced in 2015 to the tune of VND3,082 billion (US$120 million) and was completed in 2022.

This cable-stayed bridge stretches a total of 1.4 kilometers and has six lanes of traffic.
The bridge’s main span is 885 meters long, while its tower reaches 113 meters tall.
The bridge, despite its impressive architecture, lacks an artistic lighting system.
Residents have expressed their hope that authorities will install an artistic lighting system to enhance its visual appeal.
