Unexpected hail hit Tam Ky City of Quang Nam Province in central Vietnam amidst the dry season on Friday evening.

The hail started pouring down Tam Ky at around 7:00 pm and lasted for a few minutes, with hailstones measuring about one to three centimeters in diameter, according to local people.

“This is the first time I see hail in this city,” said Dung, a local in Hoa Thuan Ward.

For Hoc, another resident of Tam Ky, this was his second time seeing hail.
