A plane transporting Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh landed at Beijing International Airport in China on Sunday afternoon.
The Vietnamese government leader started his four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang.
The top Vietnamese official and his entourage were welcomed by the leader of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, and other Chinese officials.

As part of his visit, Prime Minister Chinh was set to have a meeting with Vietnamese citizens in China on Sunday evening.
A welcome ceremony for Prime Minister Chinh and talks between the Vietnamese government leader and his Chinese counterpart will take place on Monday morning.
The top Vietnamese official will also attend a national strategic dialogue between Vietnam and the World Economic Forum (WEF), and meet with WEF founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab on Monday.
Within the framework of the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum held on Tuesday, the Vietnamese prime minister will take part in various activities and meet the leaders of several nations and Chinese firms.
Besides, Prime Minister Chinh will deliver a speech at a plenary session themed 'Confronting Headwinds: Regain Growth Amid Global Economic Uncertainties.'
Also, the Vietnamese prime minister will have meetings with Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping as well as Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.
