-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking delegation will pay official visits to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, attend the eighth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative and make a working trip to Saudi Arabia, from October 27 to November 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday.

-- Powerful storm Trami was spotted some 125 kilometers east-northeast of Da Nang City at 4:00 am on Sunday, with strong winds reaching up to 102 kilometers per hour. The eye of the storm is forecast to be located in the mainland of the central region at 10:00 am the same day, according to the national weather center.
-- The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam on Saturday issued a dispatch ordering the suspension of operations at four airports, including Da Nang, Phu Bai, Dong Hoi, and Chu Lai, in the central region in response to the impact from powerful storm Trami.
-- Many luxury yachts were hoisted from the Han River and taken to safer shelters in Da Nang City on Saturday as typhoon Trami was forecast to make landfall in the city and neighboring localities on Sunday. Besides, the municipal administration requested sailors to return to shore prior to 10:00 am on Sunday due to the approaching typhoon.

-- Vietnam’s exports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products totaled nearly US$46.3 billion between January and September, up 21 percent year on year, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The export revenue of the industry is expected to hit $61 billion this year, said an official.
