-- The traffic safety committee of Bien Hoa City in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam announced on Tuesday that local traffic police had imposed administrative fines on over 300 parents for allowing their underage children to ride motorcycles on the road.

-- A 50m-long crack appeared on Phu Gia Mount in Thua Thien-Hue Province, central Vietnam and a landslide took place in the area following Tuesday morning's rain, forcing the evacuation of 23 households living at the foot of the mountain, a military official said the same day.

-- All 20 children, aged 2-3, from a preschool in Lai Chau Province, northern Vietnam are now in stable condition and remain under medical observation after being hospitalized on Tuesday morning over fears they may have ingested rat poison, local authorities confirmed at a press briefing held the same day.
